Tuesday Club nights are back!

In conjunction with Performance Tennis Academy, Helsby Community Sports Club are delighted to announce we will be holding tennis camps during all of the school holidays this year.  Children are welcome to attend full the full week or on as many days as they wish.  The day will commence at 8.45am and finish at 3.00pm.  Children should should bring their own packed lunch and a large drink.  All staff are LTA qualified and fully CRB Checked.    Pricing - 1 full day £16, 1 full week £55. The Tennis season is here again...so if you fancy taking up the game of tennis or want to pick it up again, why not come along to Helsby Tennis Club and see our great new courts and fantastic floodlit facilities?  We offer very competitive rates and have great family membership packages.  Our coach offers one to one and group coaching.

Sunday June 3rd 2007 saw the much awaited opening of the new tennis courts.  A strawberries and champagne reception was held to herald the opening.  New coach Gary Ward, an ex Wimbledon junior and Surrey County player was on hand to serve up advice.   Pictured are Freda Parry and John Burke who led the successful campaign for the new courts. The courts will be showcased to the general public at the club`s open and family fun day on Sunday  8th July.  MP, Mike Hall will be opening the courts civically at 12noon as part of the open day celebrations.

Facilities

Following the redevelopment of the courts we now have three full size, all weather, floodlit courts, two mini tennis courts and a practice wall.
